Etiquette and rules are
in place to ensure that a proper learning environment is maintained. They Are necessary to provide guidelines for keeping
discipline and respect. All students are expected to follow the course of etiquette set forth in this outline and by any Sensei
or Instructor.

When an instructor enters the mat area the leading student or Sempai will call the class to attention
and command a bow to that instructor

While on the mat and addressing an instructor, students will use that instructor’s proper title.

All students should bow on and off the mat to either the instructor present or if no instructor is present
then to the Joseki.

Students will respond quickly and promptly to commands given to an instructor. There must not be any unnecessary
talking or moving about.

Students must wear their Gi properly and when necessary turn around on one knee and make any corrections.

All Zenbu students under the rank of Shodan ho must wear a white Gi with their proper rank without modifications
or alterations.

Students should not wear make-up or jewelry while on the mat.

Students should not bring food or drink on to the mat without permission from an instructor.

Students should not leave or enter the mat during classes without permission from the instructor on the
mat.

All students should wear groin protectors and have a mouthpiece to participate in class.

Female students must wear a bra a Tee shirt under their Gi (clothing will tear).

Students must maintain good hygiene (short finger & toe nails, hair tied back if needed, Gi worn properly
etc…) and exercise good manners.
